As the first book-length account of Wordsworth's complex engagement with geography, this study will be read enthusiastically by Romanticists and those interested in spatial studies. The neglect of geography in most historicist discussions of Wordsworth and Romanticism, along with the increasing awareness of the social and the cultural importance of spatiality, has made Romantic Geographies necessary and gives it a broad appeal.
