The first half of this ostensible geography treatise combines humorous stream-of-consciousness observations on weather, topography, and Prohibition with illustrations and poems lifted from Herford's fellow contributors to Puck. The second half takes a breezy look at the nations of the world, each of whom, with the exception of Germany ("This Space to Let") the author describes as having an army "second to none in bravery and who won the world war."
