The Squaw Man is a novel originally published in 1906 by Julie Opp Faversham. It was adapted from a western/drama stage play written by Edwin Milton Royle.

In "The Squaw Man", to save his family from disgrace, Capt. James Wynnegate takes the blame when his brother, Sir Henry, embezzles from a charitable fund. Relocating to America, James purchases a ranch in Wyoming and marries Nat-u-ritch, a Native American woman. After the birth of the couple's son, James is startled by the arrival of Lady Diana, his brother's wife. Capt. Wynnegate is in love with Henry's wife, Diana. She does not love her husband and returns the affection of the captain.

The Squaw Man continues to fascinate readers today.
