This book offers a practical “first things first” outline and insightful thoughts on focusing and refocusing on the immediate job as a means of furthering the larger project. This book won’t replace 7Habits for Highly Effective People but it doesn’t purport to. The author takes a more focused approach. He offers many examples of thinking outside the box to accomplish needed tasks with an emphasis on defining, refining, and finishing the overall job. I enjoyed it and will look back on my notes, (yes, as with 7 Habits, I took notes from this book), I will review my notes periodically as I work through my projects.
